The Position: AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a
Project Manager who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. As a
Project Manager you will provide professional and quality service that exceeds member expectations. You will be expected to effectively oversee and provide direction to project team(s), including the assignment of responsibilities, tasks, and technical functions. Attend all project meetings, acting as facilitator. Ensure projects are managed with a sense of urgency to implementation schedules and user expectations. Serve as central point of contact and record keeping for Strategic, and other assigned, projects.
What You'll Do:As a Project Managryour primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensures the project team follows the organization's defined project management process, gaining required approvals according to the timeline. Reports progress, issues and roadblocks to Director, COE and makes recommendations for actions to address issues.
- Act as point of contact for various stakeholders around strategic deliverables.
- Coordinates projects with third party vendors and project managers to align with approved project objectives.
- Develops project plans and goals, with input from subject matter experts; identifies resources needed, develops schedules and methods of measuring results. Assembles and coordinates project team members, assigns individual responsibilities and organizes and manages all phases of the project life cycle.
- Conducts post project closure review. This includes determining if project has successfully met its goals and objectives, document lessons learned
- Assists business departments with requests to complete required project documents and participates as needed in meetings for the selection of projects.
- Provide end user support and training for project management tools and process.
- Manages multiple projects of varying magnitude and duration.
- Supports the organizational Change Management process.
