Summary
The Project Manager will lead assigned commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing schedules, budgets, and staff (including Site Superintendents and Foremen). This role is the main point of contact for clients and ensures all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, from planning and execution to closeout.
- Develop schedules, estimates, and budgets, and manage project teams.
- Coordinate with senior management on bidding strategies and project requirements.
- Work with Site Superintendent to monitor project progress, manage changes, and ensure adherence to contracts.
- Maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates on project activities.
- Create and maintain project documentation, addressing and reporting any issues affecting project costs or timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience, with 2+ years in project management.
- Proficiency in scheduling, cost tracking, and change management.
- Technical knowledge of construction techniques; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
