We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee a range of infrastructure and construction projects, from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering or construction management, with a solid track record in budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination. This role requires excellent leadership abilities and a detail-oriented approach to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate closely with the estimating team to set up each project for success.
- Resource Management: Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring resources are available and managed effectively to meet project demands.
- Documentation Oversight: Prepare and maintain all project documentation, including purchase orders, change orders, schedules, and progress reports. Ensure timely, accurate records are kept throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership and Communication: Act as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Lead project meetings, provide regular updates, and address any challenges that arise.
- Scheduling and Budgeting: Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules, adapting as needed to maintain efficiency. Track and report on project expenses to stay within budget, with an emphasis on financial accountability.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all project activities comply with safety standards and regulations. Maintain a proactive approach to safety, ensuring all team members are aware of protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 4 plus years in project management within the civil construction or infrastructure industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Procore, or similar. Strong understanding of civil construction processes, from grading and paving to utilities. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
