Core Responsibilities:
  • Plan, initiate and manage information technology projects
  • Lead and guide the work of technical staff
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of information technology projects
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
  • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards and cost targets are met
  • Apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments, which may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation to accomplish
  • Provide status updates to clients, senior leadership, and other stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze data, and other information, to provide recommendations to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across various workgroups and departments within the Enterprise Information Technology Services Integrator (EITSI) contract
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Master's Degree and minimum of 8 years of progressive experience preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or other equivalent certification, required
  • Ability to lead and facilitate relations amongst internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Ability to shift priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Work Authorization/Security Clearance: This position requires the person be a US citizen. Secret clearance required. Work Location: Work on-site in San Antonio, TX to support the Defense Health AgencyWork Environment: Work will be done in an office setting/environment and will need to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment. The person in this role will need to have the ability to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and occasionally will need to move about inside an office environment. This position frequently communicates with other employees and external stakeholders. The person needs to have the ability to accurately exchange information in these settings.
