Position Overview:
The Project Manager will manage enterprise-wide business projects using established project methodologies. The role will involve planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within approved budgets. The Project Manager will coordinate the efforts of internal team members and external partners in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in the project planning activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan.
* Manage relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external partners, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.
* Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project's objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members.
* Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external stakeholders to reassess and amend the scope of work requirements, budget, and timeline.
* Track scope and priority changes and their impact on the cost/timeframe of the project delivery.
* Analyze risk, establish contingency plans, and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action.
* Ensure adherence to HSUSA's Project Management policies and specifically follow the HSUSA process for managing projects and required deliverables. Ensure documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
* Relationship Management.
* Lead the estimation of project cost and maintain proper financial management of the project in line with an established budget.
* Determine what constitutes successful closure of the projects for all parties. Gain acceptance and sign-off by all parties when closure is attained.
* Follow standards and processes for change management and version controlled as established by the HSUSA PMO.
* Ensure assignment and deliverable clarity to project team; review quality of project work and manage the proper integration of team members' work.
* Provide performance input to project team members' functional management.
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve communication and streamline processes.
* Look to effect positive change in project management processes through personal effort and influence within team.
* Provide productive, constructive status reporting to management as necessary.
* Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members as appropriate.
* Project Budgeting/Forecasting.
* Track scope and priority changes and their impact on the cost/timeframe of the project delivery.
* Track errors and delays and determine how they impact the project from a cost and potential business impact point of view.
* Assure project legal documents are completed and signed.

Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business (or Management), Finance, or related discipline; Master's degree or other advanced degree in related discipline preferred.
* 8+ years of proven track record of successfully applying project management controls to manage large-scale global initiatives through all phases of its life cycle. This should include managing resources, across multiple functions in order to meet project goals.
* 4-5 years of demonstrated focus with Financial and IT implementations and Compliance project management preferably through full project life cycle. These could include ERP, Oracle, Sarbanes Oxley, PCI Compliancy, etc. Responsibilities should have included project planning, project executing & controlling, and project closure.
* Experience leading projects and programs within and outside IT, as well as projects and programs that involved external providers, encompassing iterative and agile development, all with increasing levels of responsibility and budget management.
* Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
* Demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups.
* Effective at working directly with senior leadership as well as front-line staff.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others not under direct supervision.
* Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and results driven.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented climate; across functional areas and multiple locations.
* Strong project planning capability to direct others in completing quality deliverables and lead project management and business analysis activity for larger projects.
* Expert in project management methodologies and deliverables including scope statements, project scheduling, change control, and budget development and forecasting.
* Strong software delivery credentials and proven experience in the software development lifecycle.
* Experience using PPM tools for Workflow Management, Task Management, Resource Management, Time Tracking, and Project Management.
* IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification a plus.
* Experience with SQL is a plus.
* Has excellent inter-personal skills and is experienced in managing clients/users at a senior level.
* Can demonstrate strong stakeholder management capability to influence the direction and scope of new project requests.
* Has a thorough understanding and experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
* Has a thorough understanding of all stages of alternative software engineering life cycles for development both within and beyond own organization.
* Possesses a broad knowledge of business and business functions and understands the significance of commercial constraints. Is able to recognize potential assignments outside own areas of specialization and bring to bear appropriate expertise as necessary.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to deal with complex and ambiguous environments and maintain a business-wide view across a variety of projects, work-streams, and timeframes.
* Good knowledge of Client's Financial and Operating models, including its business processes, the underlying IT that supports it and its organizational structure.
* Familiar with Business Process Improvement.
* Proficient in Project Management Tools - Automated tools to assist in the project management process, by automating mechanical tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing, and time recording.

Salary Range: $96,276.68 - $128,368.90
Annual Bonus Potential: 10%
