Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Valid Journeyman's License in MA, RI or preferably both.
- 10+ years of project management experience preferred and 5+ years of field experience as a Licensed Electrician.
- Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques.
- Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Capability to think critically and perform problem solving.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Possess your OSHA 1 Certification.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of Construction.
- Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.
- Order or requisition materials or supplies and complete purchase orders.
- Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Monitor and control project through administrative direction of VP of Construction to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Investigate potentially serious safety situations and implement corrective measures.
- Work with VP of Construction and COO to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with customers.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge, skill and experience.
