Job Description:

If you are a Project Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Mansfield, MA location, you will be part of the team that produces pressure relief valves for nuclear power plants, as well as valves for US Navy submarines and aircraft carriers, where safety and quality are paramount.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

* Primary Point of Contact (POC) for assigned projects and customers

* Project responsibility from Quote to Cash for new builds or major projects working with all internal and external collaborators to project completion

* Review bid packages and provide support for project negotiations

* Responsible for Engineered to Order (ETO) and project pricing and lead time, interacting with other company functions where needed.

* Responsible for managing project time lines to meet customer commit dates, measure gaps, develop countermeasures to close gaps and produce/improve output and results.

* Consistently follow up with the customer to provide project progress updates and coordinate internal follow-ups with all partners on every aspect of the project.

* Perform Project win/loss analysis and drive continuous improvement.

You work through formal and informal channels to build broad-based relationships and support. You know what motivates different people and align work accordingly.

For This Role, You Will Need:

* Bachelor's Degree

* 3+ years of proven experience (project management, managing large scale projects, strong communicator, strong follow-up skills, quotation, contract administration, etc.)

* Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project or equivalent, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical experience

* PMP Certification

* Proven track record to persuade and empower others, build relationships, and drive collaboration without direct authority.

* Technical knowledge of valves and valve products, or other technical, highly engineered products a plus
