Remote work for this position is contemplated but must be available for initial on-site setup and regular meetings at FWC offices in Tallahassee, Florida. Preference is for local/Regional (Tallahassee, Florida, or North/West/Central Florida) candidates.
selected applicant(s) will be expected to perform some combination of the following tasks:
1) Provide IT project management support for new or ongoing agency IT projects and activities, including those subject to Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C) 60GG-(1-5) requirements.
2) Provide coordination, reporting, and stability of assigned IT project-oriented work.
3) Facilitate collection, validation, and documentation of both functional and system requirements from business
program(s), technical staff, and stakeholders.
4) Responsible for assembling project plans and making teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work
efforts, and identifying resource needs.
5) Ensuring quality review is completed by stakeholders.
6) Provide oversight of the change management process for IT projects.
7) Responsible for escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.
8) Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources based on
requirements and performance.
9) Work with agency staff to acquire IT vendor support and services as required.
10) Coordinate communication with all areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort
being managed.
11) Comply with and enforce all FWC agency policies, procedures, and security policies.
