Job Description:As a Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate key initiatives, ensuring the effective management of projects related to system procurement, implementation, and support. You will utilize project management best practices, oversee vendor interactions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-priority IT solutions that align with the Client's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) procurement and implementation of a new system, including the transition from the existing system.
- Serve as the primary Project Manager for the new system and represent client interests in enterprise-wide IT projects.
- Support current systems, including system administration, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate system governance, including vendor activities and adherence to service level agreements.
- Maintain and update project documentation, requirements, and change management processes.
- Transition the Salesforce Helpdesk ticketing system to a new solution.
- Create detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Track and monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues using a RAID log.
- Collaborate with IT, program areas, and vendors to ensure system requirements are met.
- Develop and deliver training and orientation sessions as needed for project stakeholders.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Proven experience managing IT projects, including procurement and system transitions.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including PMI's five phases.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement, reporting, and presentations.
- Experience with risk management and the development of mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other project management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry. cyberThink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
