About the job Construction Project Manager Position OverviewUnity Works Talent, a premier staffing agency, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our client, a leading organization specializing in General Contracting, Construction Management, and Program Management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of multiple large-scale projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing complex projects, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to drive efficiency across all project phases.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution and Oversight
  • Manage large, complex, and multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Develop and optimize Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, delivering regular updates to meet timelines and optimize resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present detailed monthly project status reports, including schedules, costs, and key performance metrics.
  • Lead preconstruction and constructability reviews to optimize plans and address potential challenges early.
  • Review QA/QC reports, inspections, and test data, coordinating corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
Coordination and Logistics
  • Coordinate and implement comprehensive site logistics plans to ensure efficient resource utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Develop detailed and comprehensive scopes of work for subcontractor agreements and bid packages.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and fostering strong working relationships.
Communication and Leadership
  • Facilitate key project meetings, including owner-architect-contractor (OAC), preconstruction, and kickoff meetings, to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, including superintendents, engineers, and supervisors, to enhance performance and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, fulfilling contract requirements and addressing concerns proactively.
Financial and Quality Oversight
  • Prepare, submit, review, and approve subcontractor and owner pay applications with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proactively manage project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maximizing construction value.
  • Oversee the project closeout phase, ensuring all tasks, documentation, and requirements are completed successfully.
Safety and Compliance
  • Enforce safety policies and programs to ensure a secure working environment for all project stakeholders.
QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage large, complex, and multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Proficient in generating Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules and delivering regular updates to ensure timelines are met.
  • Skilled in preparing detailed monthly project reports, including schedules, costs, and key metrics.
  • Experienced in leading preconstruction and constructability reviews to optimize plans and address potential issues.
  • Competent in reviewing QA/QC reports, inspections, and test data, and coordinating necessary actions.
  • Skilled in facilitating various project meetings (OAC, preconstruction, kickoff) to drive effective communication and collaboration.
  • Expertise in developing clear and comprehensive scopes of work for subcontractor agreements and bid packages.
  • Strong experience in managing subcontractor and owner pay applications with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficient in overseeing project closeout phases, ensuring tasks and documentation are completed successfully.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, fulfilling contract requirements and building long-term trust.
Educational and Technical Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 10/30, Lifts, and Confined Spaces are an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, fostering clear and professional interactions.
