Position: Project ManagerLocation: MaineFulltimeQualificationsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project managementDemonstrated experience in coordinating/leading teamsExperience leading implementation of complex initiatives/projectsDemonstrated understanding of utility operations, stakeholders, and customer interactionProven track record of achieving results in high pressure and high profile assignmentsEnergizing leader with strong interpersonal communication and facilitation skills; detail-oriented, thorough, and results-focusedSelf-starter able to work well in new and undefined environmentsStrong skills in following up and following through with action items and dependenciesAdept at putting together business cases to support project and program objectivesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skillsAbility to work across organizational lines within the company and influence key internal executives and line managersMust be able to support and drive implementation of the agreed-upon strategiesFlexible and willing to take on tasks beyond the job description as requiredProven track record of being a strong team player with a results-oriented attitudeUtilization of risk management to ensure achievement of resultsProven ability to work within a matrix environment, including geographically dispersed teamsBenefitsThe base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $101,404 to $139,431ResponsibilitiesPlanning, executing, and delivering projects within specified deadlines and budget in accordance with Avangrid's standard practicesOverseeing all aspects of project management, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and quality controlDeveloping and maintaining project plans, tracking progress, and communicating updates to stakeholdersStrong leadership and problem-solving skills to resolve issues during the project lifecycleManaging a project portfolio consisting primarily of upgrades on the Distribution system at CMPCreating timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for projectsCollaborating closely with stakeholders such as engineering, construction, Testing & Commissioning team, operations, standards, telecommunications, PMO, Planning, Energy Land Management, permitting, SHEQ, among othersEnsuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standardsSupervising and coordinating the engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical system upgradesMaintaining clear and accurate project documentation and records for future referenceManaging and resolving issues that arise during the project lifecyclePerforming quality checks and system validations to ensure functionality and safety of electrical installationsLeading the development of organizational metrics and reporting frameworksDriving a practice of continuous improvement using data to enhance efficiencyMay be assigned a system emergency role and required to work outside of regular schedule/job duties in the event of a system emergencyCompany DescriptionDST ENGINEERS is a minority-owned engineering firm specializing in all sectors of the power and utility industry.
