Beneva Group has recently been engaged by a distinguished Christian liberal arts college to help them find a Project Manager to join their developing Project Management Office. This Project Manager will oversee multiple projects at one time in a unique transactional setting. In this role, you will be primarily focused on managing projects with customers on the nonprofit side of the organization but will at times also lead projects in the higher education portion of the institution.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, and/or other relevant degree
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams
- (An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to demonstrate ability to perform the job will also be considered.)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customers from project ideation to project completion
- Work with project management team to develop project valuation methodologies
- Work with customers to determine project scope, schedule, budget, and risks
- Work with customers throughout projects and hold all stakeholders accountable to schedules and budgets
- Clearly communicate status of projects through reporting and presentations with the project team, project management team, and senior leadership
- Maintain multiple projects through completion and be comfortable with moving between them, allocating resources for each project effectively
- Regularly coordinate with other service providers, especially Information Technology Services
- Train customers on how to participate in projects and on the value of project management
- Create libraries of best practices, lessons learned, methodologies, tools, and templates as the College establishes a project management Center of Excellence
- Foster inter- and intra-departmental relationships
- Continuously learn and expand knowledge of the project management field
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Planner, Project)
- Mainstream project management tools and resources
- Understanding of technology terminology
