Team Overview:

This team is at the forefront of product management, focusing on cybersecurity and data governance. Engaging with diverse stakeholders, this role requires not only technical expertise but also strong leadership and advisory skills.

Historically, the team operated in a PMO capacity. However, with evolving business needs, there is now a greater emphasis on leadership advisory, demanding a specialized skill set in cybersecurity domains and program management.

Rationale: Need to have utility support with someone who can jump in on a range of Office of the CISO tasks including but not limited to: business management, expense management, workforce reporting, project management.

Day-to-day: ad hoc requests from any business services lead in Cybersecurity (across any domains)

Project Management:

• Developing timelines, action plans, and roadmaps for Cyber projects.
• Tracking progress in Jira following agile methodologies.
• Dealing proactively with roadblocks and escalations.

Headcount Reporting:

• Tracking team size, turnover, and hiring progress for a cybersecurity department or organization.
• Analyzing workforce capacity and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Partnering with HR and recruiting teams for talent acquisition.

Expense Management:

• Budget planning for cybersecurity projects, tools, and operations.
• Monitoring and reporting on cybersecurity spend against budget forecasts.
• Justifying budget needs to senior leadership or finance teams.

Must haves: project management and business management experience in a cybersecurity department / organization at a large financial institution
