Job Description:
Experience (preferred or required):
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred
  • Experience in site work construction is required, preferably as a Project Manager or in a similar position
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Docs and MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
  • Proficient in HCSS HeavyJob Software, HCSS HeavyBid Software, PDF Editing with Adobe Pro or Bluebeam preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery, schedule, and budget
  • Develop and protect relationships with our clients, customers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, government representatives, and other necessary entities
  • Cost and production management
  • Value engineering
  • Procurement and management of subcontractors and vendors
  • Create and update project schedules for submission as requested or required by the clients/customers
  • Help transition successful estimates/awarded projects to the operations team. This typically requires involvement in all project buyout and setup operations during the initial phase of the project
  • Work hand in hand during this process with estimators to help facilitate a smooth transition and successful project
  • Upkeep of the process-tracking documents to ensure a smooth project life-cycle
  • Negotiate with clients, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers as needed
  • Administration of document control systems •Development of construction means and methods in conjunction with the project team
  • Change order management
  • Implement and monitor the E Contracting Safety Program including the coordination of project activities to ensure compliance with all government regulatory guidelines and agencies. Directly responsible for subcontractor compliance to E Contracting Safety Program
  • Help drive safety initiatives from safety team
  • Respond to phone calls and e-mails in a timely fashion
  • Willing to learn the industry and help us maintain and grow our marketplace position
  • Attend business meetings and trainings as required
  • Follow and adhere to Company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Perform other administrative duties, tasks and special projects as assigned
