Job Description:As a Project Manager, you will oversee the implementation and enhancement of a secure extranet site for the CLIENT, enabling effective collaboration with external stakeholders. This role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, and implementation.
- Ensure system requirements align with CLIENT business needs and strategic objectives.
- Develop detailed project management plans, establish priorities, and manage resources to meet objectives.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and budget, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate collaboration between IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and changes, maintaining thorough documentation in RAID logs.
- Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ensure project compliance with established CLIENT IT PMO standards and procedures.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced project management staff to build team capacity.
- Coordinate system testing and training sessions, ensuring successful adoption of solutions.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- 7-9 years of experience managing technical initiatives with complex project teams and vendor involvement.
- Strong skills in budgeting, communication, leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and team building.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP certification and a four-year degree or equivalent technical study are preferred.
- Proven experience in managing risks, developing mitigation strategies, and achieving project goals.
- Proficiency in using tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and adhering to CLIENT IT PMO guidelines.
