As a Project Manager, you will independently manage one or more innovative acquisition project within Office of Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS). The office provides cradle-to-grave acquisition, project, & financial management support. Location of position: San Antonio, Texas We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience leading and/or managing complex Information Technology (IT) projects, Professional Services (PS), Research and Development (R&D), and innovative acquisitions (e.g., Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer or equivalent special authorities, and Commercial Solutions Openings), including non-Federal Acquisition Regulation based contracts. Such experience must include project management, defining technical requirements for client needs, monitoring contractor performance, and managing financial resources.
