Job Summary:

Studio RRD is seeking a Project Manager to join our team of lighting and production professionals. Successful candidates will have a thorough knowledge of technical production and project management. Project Managers are the primary point of contact for all technical aspects of a project, directly managing budget, schedule, equipment, and execution of their projects. Candidates will be expected to navigate a crowded scheduled of projects across a variety of disciplines.

As a Project Manager, you will work with the designer to execute a meticulous advance process, accounting for every potential need and obstacle to successfully build large scale installations. This position is responsible for fully planning the technical framework and support systems needed to realize a client's aesthetic, including managing budgets, ensuring the safety and quality of all events, and collaborating with other vendors and clients to execute a successful event.

Expected Qualifications:

· 8+ years of verifiable professional experience in the entertainment industry working in an applicable Project Management role, including but not limited to Production Management, Technical Direction, or Lighting Supervision.

· Knowledge of industry standard software tools, including Vectorworks and Lightwright.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Unflappable, adaptable and ability to maintain positivity in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Experience from all disciplines of entertainment is welcome, including but not limited to theatrical, event, concert, or broadcast.

· Bachelor's Degree in the fields of Production, Lighting, Audio, equivalent technical field, or demonstrably relevant program. Master's Degree is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

· Organize and manage the advance and execution of a project; ensuring that essential tasks are completed in a timely manner within the budget and contracted specifications of a project.

· Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and helping to secure an ongoing relationship.

· Respond to requests for proposals in collaboration with designers and technical staff.

· Evaluate and source all production needs including equipment, labor, power, and other applicable production support.

· Communicate with client and partners to create a schedule, define scope, confirm budget and advance production needs.

· Oversee the onsite installation of an event, represent Studio RRD, and interface with clients and vendors.

· Collaborate with senior staff to achieve companywide strategic objectives.

· Collaborate in the creation, organization, and maintenance of the company's digital assets and databases.

· Other duties as assigned

This is a full-time exempt salaried position with a salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This is paid on a bi-weekly basis and includes health insurance, employer-matched 401k, and other benefits.
