Wyatt Management is a growing commercial general contractor that specializes in ground-up construction, tenant improvements and remodel programs for developers, leading restaurants, and retail clients.
We have expertise in building fast-casual restaurants and bars, site development, automotive care and repair shops, retail strip centers, medical offices, recreation centers, and more. We are looking for high-performing individuals who can manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as the lead project management individual on projects from $1 million - $10 million in scope value.
- Ability to understand contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Must have exceptional business development and client relationship-building skills.
- Ability to be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be decisive and work well under pressure, particularly when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.
- Ability to coordinate several major activities at once while analyzing and resolving specific problems.
- Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and competency on all projects and tasks.
- Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status
- Computer Skills Required – Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to develop and successfully manage project schedules
- Ability to create material take-off's
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Must be proficient at assembling and maintaining project budgets with 5-15 subcontractors
- Procore experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of assigned projects, including estimating, construction, budget and cash management to ensure compliance with the project contract and owner needs
- Develops and manages the project schedule, budget, project procedures, and equipment resources needed to complete accurate and timely project production
- Assesses initial project contract and supporting documents for completeness
- Works with owner to resolve specification, contract conflict and scheduling issues
- Supports the safety programs of the project and owner safety programs
- Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan
- Ability to identify growth opportunities for project personnel and developed to coach and mentor project personnel
- Negotiating and awarding subcontracts
- Reviewing/preparing subcontractors scope of work
- Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project (Master, Weekly, 3-week, 6-week)
- Attend meetings and prepare minutes
- Review/prepare change orders
- Develop/track submittals, RFI's and cost reports
- Develop and maintain owner relations
