Summary The project manager is responsible for managing key projects with one or multiple strategic customers for the organization.The individual is responsible for ensuring projects are on-time, budget, and delivers an excellent customer service experience within the projects assigned. Essential Functions
- Lead and manage key projects within strategic, large key customer(s) for the organization.
- Ensure projects are planned and documented properly with key milestones laid out for internal and external customers.
- Complete ownership of project even though tasks may be completed by both internal and external contacts.
- Timely completion of tasks and tracking of task completion communication throughout project.
- Communication of project status to all stakeholders at the agreed upon frequency.
- This will also require customer communication in which we strive to enrich our relationship with key customer contacts.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to represent Endries in a positive manner to all levels of customer contacts and our internal leadership team
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to drive process improvements.
- Possesses business acumen and a broad based understanding of business models
- Demonstrates solid technical and research skills.
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Proven ability to independently handle multiple tasks simultaneously, deal with ambiguity and to complete assignments given aggressive time constraints.
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree Business or related field
- 3+ years of related experience, i.e. project management, account management, customer service.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the fastener distribution industry or related experience strongly preferred.
