Position Description

Bluebird Kids Health is seeking a dynamic Project Manager of Launch to support the end-to-end planning and execution of market launches. Reporting to the Director of Growth & Launch, this role will coordinate the critical milestones and cross-functional activities to ensure every launch is executed seamlessly, on time, and within scope. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional launch meetings, establish project timelines, and manage dependencies across internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing, clinical, and technology) and external partners (architect, general contractor, etc.). This individual will play a key role in optimizing and standardizing the launch process by developing and refining a scalable launch playbook The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

What Youll Do

Real Estate, Design & Construction

  • Support the end-to-end process for de novo clinic launches, including site selection, contracting, space design, construction, licensing, and site readiness
  • Complete preliminary review of potential sites and coordinate visits with brokers
  • Partner with the construction manager to proactively identify and resolve construction-related issues
  • Track and report on budget progress, including expenditure forecasts and variance analysis
  • Facilitate communication between architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure alignment on design feedback and changes
  • Oversee construction schedules to ensure they align with broader project timelines and priorities
  • Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with plans by conducting site visits and inspections

Site Readiness

  • Coordinate with general contractor, architect, and vendors to ensure permits, inspections, and installations are completed on time
  • Coordinate with key vendors to schedule delivery and installation of furniture, equipment, medical equipment, and office supplies
  • Maintain key vendor relationships, ensuring consistency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines
  • Manage schedules and activities across multiple projects, addressing conflicts and balancing priorities.

Launch Project Management

  • Collaborate with internal team (e.g., Operations, Technology, Finance) and external partners to manage project timelines and dependencies, ensuring clarity on roles and deliverables
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep launches on track, escalating critical issues as needed
  • Participate in weekly cross-functional launch meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and next steps
  • Maintain cross-functional project plans, ensuring alignment and accountability
  • Support the development of a comprehensive launch playbook, defining standard operating procedures (SOPs), timelines, and tools to drive highly reliable, repeatable, and efficient launches
  • Continuously improve launch processes to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and quality

What Youll Need

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in real estate, healthcare operations, project management, or other relevant role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions and recommendations
  • Highly detail oriented, with proven experience managing multiple complex projects at one time
  • Familiarity with key tools (ArcGIS, project management platforms, etc.) is a plus
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter, comfortable working in high growth environments
