Job Type ContractDescriptionProject Manager (6-9 month contract) - International experience with manufacturing/distribution experience required The Project Manager will lead the transformation of the Forli, Italy facility into a central European distribution hub for Dometic Marine, leveraging best practices from the Litchfield, Illinois site. The Forli Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of the specified strategic project. This includes developing and managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with the Dometic Product Development Process (DPDP), and providing regular status updates to key stakeholders. The scope of this project will require working within Litchfield site and travel to Forli, Italy site (international travel 50%).Position reports to the Vice President, AftermarketRequirements
- Provide regular project status reports to various levels of Dometic leadership including: collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions.
- Coordinate both internal cross functional resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project
- Ensure that project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to track progress
- Measure and report project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure active cross functional participation, engagement, and deliverable tracking within DPDP and/or DPIP framework.
- Ensure project and product cost targets are met
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in technical field or 6+ years of applicable work experience
- Experience in Marine, Automotive Products or related industry preferred.
- Experience managing international project
- Proven experience interacting with suppliers, customers (internal and external) and Senior Management.
- Experience with stage gate process required.
- Experience with projects of various levels of complexity (eg. white label, outsourced custom product, and manufactured product) preferred.
- Agile/SCRUM project leadership experience a plus.
