Based in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, our client is a full-service mechanical contractor specializing in CAD and BIM services, commercial and industrial plumbing, process piping, and commercial HVAC systems. Backed by decades of experience, they can build, renovate, upgrade, service, maintain, and operate facilities for clients in every major market.They are currently looking for Project Managers in their Rocky Hill, CT location. In this role the Project Manager assists the company in meeting its objectives and goals by overseeing and directing assigned commercial mechanical construction projects at various locations in Connecticut and taking appropriate actions to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and with defined resources. Looking for strong leaders with some technical aptitude. - Prepare bids and job quotes for projects- Manage construction projects and execute terms of project contracts- Ensure a complete scope of work is defined- Monitor project budgets and labor costs- Monitor and prepare project schedules with milestone deadlines- Review, analyze, and make recommendations on project change orders- Estimate and price the change orders as required- Analyze plans and construction documents for project requirements and value engineering opportunities- Prepare documents for billing and coordinate with accounting personnel- Review projects with the president, CFO, and Group Manager periodically- Maintain regular communication and collaboration- Spend time on assigned job sites- Manage communications with general contractors or construction managers for assigned projects- Recommend methods and improvements based on project needs and resources- Report and resolve employee concerns and grievances as needed- Ensure that job site employees maintain a safe work environment- Attend and conduct meetings as required- Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programsBase salary, $90 - $110K, plus a bonus, benefits, and a 401k.Very minimal travel and normal Monday through Friday, day shift working hours.
