Client Details

My client is a full service general contractor, headquartered in the Greater St. Louis area. They focus on both ground-up and renovation projects with a value of $15M to $55M. Their projects are predominantly within the wood-frame construction sector. The company is currently experiencing significant growth so they are looking to add experienced talent to their project management team. Description

  • Plans and coordinates project activities inline with company polices and procedures
  • Creates and reviews project schedules
  • Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
  • Direct the support staff and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery
  • Communicates effectively, establishes and fosters relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
  • Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion
  • Assist in hiring and mentoring new employees
  • Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site

Profile

  • At least 5-10+ years of experience with a general contractor
  • Experience in ground up and/or renovation projects
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Organized and communicative
  • Wood-frame construction experience is a plus
  • See projects through to completion
  • Strong technical and computer skills in industry-related programs preferred
  • Travel to job sites when needed
  • Carpentry background is a plus
