Job Title: Project Manager Location: New York, NY 10041 Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex enterprise projects, driving them from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of managing large-scale projects across multiple specialties, with the ability to oversee project scope, budget, and schedule while collaborating closely with senior management and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
Manage large, mission-critical projects within budget and time constraints. Define, control, and manage the scope of work to achieve project objectives. Develop and apply metrics for evaluating project effectiveness. Lead and coordinate projects across various specialty areas using independent judgment and tailored management techniques. Oversee cross-functional aspects to ensure timely delivery of project milestones within budget. Create and manage essential project documents, including plans for project execution, business requirements, communication, and testing. Delegate tasks, monitor team performance, and resolve issues impacting project progress. Provide leadership, address conflicts, and clear barriers to team progress. Ensure quality and adherence to project lifecycle standards, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure. Assemble and guide project teams, assign responsibilities, and identify resources to maintain timelines. Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders, including functional managers, executive sponsors, and steering committee members, to provide project updates, address issues, and offer recovery plans for delayed tasks. Maintain project control records and logs, conduct lessons learned sessions, and issue closing reports. Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in working collaboratively across teams and departments to build cohesion among diverse employee network groups.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large projects in complex environments.
- Superb writing and editing skills with the flexibility to handle diverse assignments from start to finish under tight deadlines.
- Experience in language services is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.
