POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager, Program Office is responsible for the creation of strategies to deliver the output/product of the program. This position will manage various tasks and timelines that aid in the development of a portfolio of projects and programs and coordinate the teams who are working on the various projects and product development. The Project Manager, Program Office will ensure that the proper parties engage, interact and communicate with relevant third parties.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job.
* Responsible for the overall life cycle management of the program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
* Define the program controls (processes, procedures, reporting, etc.), to create structure allowing for the proper program management.
* Plan the overall program, including budget, and monitor progress to ensure successful and timely completion of milestones for each project and program.
* Anticipate and manage the risks and issues that arise over the course of the program life cycle and help define and implement proper mitigation strategies and corrections.
* Coordinate with the Program Office group on projects and interdependencies between various projects and programs.
* Manage and use resources, including human resources, across the various projects and programs to ensure the success of each aspect and the final deliverables.
* Manage stakeholders and their expectations.
* Make sure deliverables are aligned across projects and programs.
* Track and report on program performance, using metrics and KPIs to assess progress and make data driven decisions.
* Lead change management efforts to adapt to evolving program requirements and external factors, ensuring minimal disruption to program progress.
* Implement quality assurance practices to ensure that all program outputs meet the required standards and specifications.
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree required, PMP or Masters in Program or Portfolio Management preferred. Combination of work life experience in similar field acceptable.
