We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Project Manager, Senior to work out of Dayton, OH. *Position is contingent upon award of contract*Job Summary:Lead MS&A activities supporting integrated capability development planning for AFLCMC/XA in Dayton, OH. Responsible for program management, research and development, highly specialized engineering, analysis, integration and testing, mission planning, logistics, training, and innovation services in support of modeling and simulation capabilities for key Air Force aerospace research programs and systems. MS&A activities support early, pre-milestone acquisition projects and technology maturation through modeling, simulation, and analysis, experimentation, prototyping, and transition support planning.Essential Duties:
- Ultimate responsibility for project including cost, schedule, performance, and all deliverables.
- Collaboration with government customer on requirements and deliverables.
- Lead development and execution of MS&A experimentation campaigns designed to resolve uncertainty and assumptions to identify technology feasibility and operational viability of opportunity concepts.
- Collaborate with team members, customers, and external technical teams.
- Work with program and portfolio analysts to capture metrics on project innovation management progression.
- Ensure contracts provide sufficient funds for personnel, equipment, travel, etc.
- Account for expenditure of funds.
- Account/track equipment issuance and location to ensure accurate accountability/inventory.
- Procure available resources, equipment, and software as required to meet project requirements.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of related program management experience
- Experience leading MS&A projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD Contracts
- Experience with mission decomposition analysis and CONOP development
- Experience with operations research analysis
Education/ Certification:
- Master's degree in engineering related field
- PMP or DAU equivalent certification for managing DoD programs
