Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial and mixed-use construction projects in NYC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in construction management, with a strong proficiency in project documentation, blueprint interpretation, bid leveling, buyouts, and preconstruction activities. Proficiency in Procore software is essential for this role. Responsibilities:
- Manage 2-3 projects and all aspects of assigned construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Oversee subcontractor selection, bid leveling, and contract negotiations.
- Review and interpret project blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to address issues and achieve project goals.
- Utilize Procore software for project management, document control, and communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents.
- Experience with bid leveling, buyouts, and preconstruction activities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.
