Job Description:As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex, small to large-scale projects and programs for the Client. This role involves managing project tracking systems, analyzing results, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective collaboration, and a thorough understanding of project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid), government operations, and change management. You will liaise with Executive Sponsors, Business Owners, Information Technology teams, and external vendors to ensure project deliverables meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with external vendors, program personnel, and IT resources to deliver project outcomes.
- Foster collaborative and consultative work environments across matrixed teams and departments.
- Ensure budget adherence and monitor project priorities, deadlines, and quality from inception to completion.
- Facilitate timely processing and review of project invoices, ensuring compliance with procurement and fiscal policies.
- Develop and implement standardized best practices to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Provide detailed reports and updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Manage project financials, including Payment Milestone invoices and Deliverable Approval processes.
- Communicate effectively on behalf of the Client with professional tact.
- Drive alignment on project vision, scope, and solutions among stakeholders.
- Lead the development and implementation of transformation initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering large-scale projects successfully.
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools such as Planview, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, JIRA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expertise in Project and Program Management, Financial Management, Procurement, and Contract Lifecycle Management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; PMP or PgMP certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in the public sector is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across various departments.
- Strong organizational skills and time management.
- Expertise in change management and delivering presentations effectively.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
