Position Overview:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Project Manager with a degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management from Georgia Southern University or Kennesaw State University (preferred). This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 5 years of experience, particularly those with a background in gas station construction, retail projects, and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects, with a focus on gas stations, retail spaces, and restaurants.
- Support the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions to meet project goals.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Prepare project documentation, including reports, RFIs, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (graduates of Georgia Southern or Kennesaw State University preferred).
- Experience: 1-5 years in construction or project management, with a strong preference for experience in gas stations, retail spaces, and restaurant construction. Internships and co-op experience are highly valued.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and basic construction codes (OSHA certification is a plus).
