  • 8+ years of Project Management experience overseeing technical development projects
  • Experience in managing projects through three (3) or more phases - MUST HAVE!
  • Experience managing three (3) or more vendor project teams - MUST HAVE!
  • Experience in engaging with senior executives to report on project efforts or discuss project requirements and priorities
  • Experience in project stakeholder management. - MUST HAVE!
  • Expertise in handling projects focused on IT physical assets (facilities, equipment, etc.) - MUST HAVE!
  • Bachelor's Degree
Key Responsibilities: The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is seeking an expert Project Manager to oversee multiple IT projects, including construction initiatives and technology refreshes. Key duties include planning project activities, coordinating project teams, and communicating with all stakeholders from project initiation through completion.
  • Develop comprehensive long- and short-term plans, set milestones, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Assign project tasks to the most qualified team members to ensure efficient completion.
  • Evaluate multiple options to determine the optimal path forward for project progression.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, managing multiple stakeholder teams and vendors to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Liaise with executives or board members to align projects with organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments throughout the project lifecycle to maintain expected standards.
  • Modify project schedules and targets in response to evolving needs or changes in financing.
  • Prepare and manage Project Management Plans and schedules to guide project execution.
  • Monitor project performance, including scope, schedule, risks, and issues, to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with the PMO director, program staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to define and implement sustainable PMO requirements.
  • Elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate business processes to ensure project alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead sessions to assess current and future requirements, emphasizing Organizational Change Management principles.
  • Evaluate high-level design recommendations from developers to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals.
  • Analyze and research the implications of implementing new business process changes.
  • Develop and document internal training materials related to PMO services to enhance team capabilities.
  • Leverage agency software tools to assist in managing the project's Software Development Life cycle (SDLC).
  • Oversee the installation of hardware for state construction projects, coordinating with vendors to ensure successful implementation.
  • Supervise vendor performance and contract compliance to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Organize logistics and schedules for hardware installation, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Ensure all construction and installation activities comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
