Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of civil construction projects, from planning to completion. The successful candidate will be able to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of civil construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and codes.
  • Coordinate and manage activities delegated by the Project Manager, ensuring that work is completed to the required standard.
  • Communicating with owners, vendors and subcontractors
  • Coordinating with jobsite superintendents while maintaining a positive client relationship across multiple projects
  • Issuing purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Scheduling, invoicing, estimating and takeoffs
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to management.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction crews and subcontractors as required
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in civil construction, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam and project management software.
