What you'll do In this role you will assist the Systems Integration to team deliver the systems essential to the world's leading energy projects. You will provide essential administrative support to project managers and assists in the coordination and execution of projects as well as play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of project activities, tracking progress, and facilitating effective communication among team members. The Energy Systems team provide engineering services for the petrochemical, renewable energy, carbon capture, hydrogen, LNG, and maritime infrastructure across the planet. The day-to-day Growing professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders Collaborating with project management to prepare for project review meetings Liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods Receiving shipments of materials, and examining deliveries to ensure accurate quantities, quality, and specifications Facilitating flow of materials between various departments and parties Examining job cost reports for inconsistencies, such as mischarges Meeting and collaborating with management to assess reliability of suppliers and vendors, and to identify solutions for ongoing problems Performing clerical duties, and maintaining accurate records and files of activities Following established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures What you'll need Demonstrated experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Advanced Excel skills to work and report on data and insights on various projects Proven experience cross-collaborating with various departments Experience with cost and scheduling Demonstrated knowledge with Project schedule and software and tools A Higher National Certificate (HNC) or higher in Business or relevant subject Available for some occasional travel What will help you on the job Proven communication skills both verbal and written Demonstrated ability to perform project analysis Attention to detail Validated time management skills Verified Client and Vendor relationship building EEO Statement Viasat is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, seeking to create a welcoming and diverse environment.
