We are currently hiring a Construction Project Scheduler with buildings and facilities experience for our Baltimore, MD, office.

Responsibilities:

The Construction Project Scheduler will serve as a lead role on specific assignments and review preparation of reports and other project deliverables including designs, cost estimates, and schedule, and shall:

* Work in collaboration with Project Team to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting

* Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports Gantt, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, near-term tasks work authorizations, priority based resource allocations, performance variances, to support cost/schedule integration

* Ability to analyze, track, and report multiple projects via the use of P6 and Microsoft projects and updates.

* Schedule estimating through elicitation of stakeholders to capture estimations of new work, updated actuals, and remaining work

* Identify major milestones, decision points, single points of failure and other project events

* Anticipates scheduling shortfalls or conflicts and provides recommendations for corrective actions

* Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules following the standard of best project practice

* Research and contribute to the development of new techniques, automation, and standards

* Understand the scope, drawings, specifications, and perform productivity rate analysis to assign durations to project activities.

* Prepares schedule status reports, lead the baseline schedule creation and approval effort for project sites

* Communicate with supervisors to determine the status of assigned projects, capture sequence revisions, update the contract schedules

* Capture impacts and delays to project schedules and recommend mitigation/recovery schedules

* Act as Owner Representative Scheduler for capital projects

* Track, analyze, and report information appropriately

* Coordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports

* Identify and report schedule variances and trends

* Suggest corrective actions and develop recovery plans over potential delays captured above

Qualifications:

The qualifications for a Construction Project Scheduler include:

* Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

* Five years of relevant construction projects scheduling experience

* Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or be able to attain it

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Proficient

* Proficient in the latest version of Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Office, MS Outlook, or appropriate project scheduling software

* Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, & writing skills

Salary for this position can range from $115,000.00 to $150,000.00
