Job Description:

Cordoba Corporation is seeking a Project Scheduler (title and salary commensurate with experience and abilities) to work on a general engineering services contract in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, having strong analytical and problem, solving skills, detail oriented, and have strong interpersonal skills. The candidate will be reporting directly to Cordoba Corporation and performing daily tasks for a major project. As a Project Scheduler, youll play a crucial role in managing project schedules. Your responsibilities include understanding contract requirements, developing and updating detailed schedules, identifying milestones, and assessing progress. With a Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering and a minimum of 2 years in CPM scheduling, your proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong analytical skills will contribute to successful project execution

  • Develop, review and understand Contract requirements for Baseline Schedule and establishes criteria for schedule development (schedule detail, work breakdown structure (WBS) and others)
  • Develops and updates summary level as well as detailed schedules.
  • Working with the project team, identifies major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items.
  • Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.
  • Assigns resources (cost, labor or material) to activities and develops cash flow reports and resource histograms.
  • Evaluates critical and near critical path activity sequences.
  • Assesses or validate actual progress based on inter-disciplinary team input.
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • 2 years minimum in CPM scheduling.
  • Highly proficient in Primavera P6.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and all other Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 per year.
  • Location: Oakland, CA - Three times a week in the office.
