Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a pediatric outpatient setting.Experience with Cerner power chart.Experience working with children with autism diagnosis.Experience leading support groups.
Brief Description of Duties:Provides social work services to families seen by the Early Childhood Clinic.This includes but is not limited to conducting psychosocial histories, leading first-time autism diagnosis groups, leading sibling support groups, family follow-up after initial consult, connecting families with resources such as Early Intervention, Committee for Preschool Special Education, Committee for Special Education, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, coordinating and/or providing educational talks to ECC families, and collaborating with the team. Duties:
- Conducting psychosocial histories
- Leading first-time autism diagnosis groups.
- Leading sibling support groups.
- Family follow-up after initial consult.
- Connecting families with resources such as Early Intervention, Committee for Preschool Special Education, Committee for Special Education, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
- Coordinating and/or providing educational talks to ECC families.
- Collaborating with the team.
- Other duties are assigned by Project Director.
