Summary

Radial Power is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Specialist to support the Senior Director, Project Development and Transformation, in managing and executing clean energy projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role and a passion for sustainable energy solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and forward-thinking company focused on clean energy deployment.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project activities from initiation to completion.

* Assist in scheduling and organizing project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and supporting follow-through on action items.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project plans

* Help prepare project status reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and up-to-date information.

* Support the tracking of project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, and regulatory approvals.

* Support organization of equipment lists, warranty, specifications, operations and maintenance manuals, inspections, testing, certifications required for solar systems.

* Support the project manager in ensuring smooth commissioning and handover of the completed solar installation to the client.

Requirements

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Required Experience

* At least 1-3 years of experience in project support, coordination, or administrative role, preferably in the solar energy or construction industry.

* Analytics and report creation.

Other Skills

* Understanding of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) technology, inverters, and battery storage systems.

* Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Ability to rely on your own knowledge, skills, and resources to find solutions, while also knowing when to seek additional information if necessary.

* Ability to assess situations, arguments, or data critically, without bias, and to make logical conclusions

* Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously.

* Excellent organizational, time management, multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and support stakeholder relationships.

* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Willingness to learn and adapt to new project management techniques and tools.

* PMP, CAPM, or on path to obtain

* Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
