- Responsible for writing, producing, and editing of movie promos, network image promos and sales billboards for broadcast television.
- Periodically required to drive to and assist in promotional shoots throughout the year.
- Perform other duties as needed and directed by Head of Creative Services.
- Maintain network standards of aesthetics, content and integrity of overall on-air look, sound, and style.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Work EnvironmentWork from the office three days per week and work from home two days per week. Normal office environment.RequirementsEducation & Experience
- 6 - 8 years editing experience and high familiarity with standard editing concepts, practices, and procedures within the broadcast industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the field or in a related area.
Skills & Abilities
- Fluent in Final Cut Pro and ancillary software necessary.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects is beneficial. Video shooting experience a plus.
- Candidate must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Applicants must be dependable, flexible, practical, and self-motivated while maintaining a standard of quality and integrity.
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task.
- Strong ability to write conversationally.
