OverviewThe Promotional Tasting Supervisor is responsible for serving as the central point of contact for support, coordination, and execution of Breakthru PA Tasting events. This job is responsible for supervising and delegating to casual promotion associates for each tasting. This role plans logistics, execution, and implementation of tastings. This job also supports various other projects. This role requires a high level of organization and knowledge across our entire portfolio.Candidates located in Pittsburgh, PA are also encouraged to apply.Prior supervisor/manager of a team, Payroll experience, MS Office, and Excel skills are necessary for success in this role.Pay Range - $65,000 - $69,000 per yearResponsibilitiesManage tasting projects from conception thru the actual tasting promotion.Build Supplier Trust Equity for management of product, samples, and access to POS with the ability to pull what is needed for each event.Manage all presentations and coordination for tastings. Copy, organize, and distribute brand and training material as necessary.Manage all promotion associates, including tasting scheduling and arrange logistics of promotions.Schedule and staff external labor for BBG promotions.Communicate tasting to all responsible parties internally and externallySource suppliers to validate costs and timing deliverables to find the best fit for our needs.Receive and process invoices and manage budget for all day-to-day operations of tastings.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experienceMinimum of 2 years' experience in event planning or sales support roleProficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesAnalytic and Reporting skillsUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Certification in one or more beverage specialtyUnderstanding of beverage industry sales and trade or marketing processesProficient use of social mediaHave knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the fieldPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephoneLight to moderate lifting is requiredCompetencies:Accountable for results which impact the department.Selects best option from a set of defined procedures/ solutions using common sense and experience of similar situations.This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
