dna is looking for a proofreader to join our team! We seek an eagle-eyed, dynamic individual with some healthcare proofing experience. You'll work with our group of creatives, account managers and media experts on behalf of our healthcare clients. This person will work with internal team members to help set the standards for our output, and to provide consistency for dna work across all agency work - with a focus on conventions and cancer care. You'll contribute on day-to-day work and the occasional pitch. An ideal candidate should be organized, passionate about language (of course) and familiar with digital storytelling, from social posts to videos, to earned activations. The ideal candidate would have:
- 2-3 years of experience at an agency, media or online publishing company
- a proven track record of working under daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
- excellent editing and grammatical skills
- ability to spot inconsistencies
- knowledge of multimedia storytelling
- a clear ability to work autonomously, with solid decision-making skills and the ability to identify concerns and issues,
- an ability to work withing MS word, Powerpoint, etc.
- communication skills; can effectively interact with team members
What you'll do:
- edit / proofread a wide range of content, across all client business
- share POV on critical language choices
- contribute to brand guideline development
- coordinate with creatives and account team to help set standards for agency
