Major Responsibilities
- Assist public and Airport tenants in person, via email and over the telephone with requested information.
- Assist with drafting, composing, and editing correspondence pertaining to property management and tenant relations.
- Assist with lease and contract document creation using templates, documents from outside sources including written guidance from legal counsel.
- Track Airport and tenant insurance and bond requirements, insurance/risk claims and police reports to ensure compliance with lease terms and claims management processes.
- Maintain recordkeeping, subject files, archive files and tenant mailing lists.
- Manage lease and contract related data entry, provisions and file maintenance using ABRM Airport IQ software.
- Assist with the development, and support of the Airport's complex properties portfolio, commercial properties management and tenant relations.
- Show available properties and facilities to interested parties.
- Provide support to Airport lease negotiations, contract creation and execution, tenant relations pertaining to contracts and agreements.
- Assist with preparation of proposal and bid documents as well as responses to development opportunities presented from economic development agencies, airport solicitations or 'walk-in' proposals.
- Provide support to Airport Ground Transportation.
- Maintain a system of keys for Airport facilities, buildings, structures and mailboxes.
- At the Direction of the Properties Manager update contract and lease agreements in accordance with state laws, city code, and federal policies and procedures.
- Provide real property asset information to internal and external customers and stakeholders. Respond to inquiries regarding minor real estate and revenue contracts such as hangar rentals and payment of various fees by ground transportation operators.
- Assist with issuance of permits for First Amendment activities on Airport-owned properties.
- Coordinate with various governmental agencies regarding easements, contracts, leases and Indemnification Agreements. Order maps, exhibits, and other documents in preparation of leases and contracts.
- Manage Tenant Improvement Forms and the approval process including communication with tenants.
- Provide other administrative support and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; and two years of related experience.
- An Associates Degree in related field with at least four years related experience, preferably in business or real estate.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting the minimum requirements for this position.
- Valid state driver license, free of serious or frequent traffic violations.

Physical Requirements:

Spokane Airport provides a generous benefit package. Currently, we cover employee at 100% and dependents at 90% of the premium cost. We offer four plan choices for medical coverage (includes vision) through Kaiser Permanente.
