  • Review revenues, expenses, invoices, and other accounting documents to complete month-end close for properties, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare and enter journal entries, including, accruals, amortizations, deposits, and reclassifications.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, deposit checks, issue checks, book cash transfers, and process resident refunds.
  • Compile and analyze financial statements for internal review, investors, and lenders on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Communicate with on-site and other property managers to support pre-close and close activities, answer questions, and ensure timely completion of accounting processes.
  • Train and mentor new team members.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of multi-entity accounting experience
  • Associate's degree in accounting, bachelor's degree in accounting (Preferred)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Previous experience in Property Management accounting (Preferred)
  • Previous experience utilizing Entrata (Preferred)
