Brown & Brown is Seeking a Property & Casualty Client Account Manager to join our growing team in Troy, MI!

The Client Account Manager services new and existing accounts. Responsible for the day-to-day account management of an assigned book of business, including but not limited to processing policies/endorsements, invoicing, issuance of certificates of insurance, claims reporting and follow up as needed, premium breakdowns, auto ID cards, policy changes, review of policy forms, providing coverage comparisons, loss analysis and responding to coverage questions.

How You Will Contribute

* Coordinates and markets new and renewal business opportunities with local, regional and national insurance carriers.

* Prepares all submissions and works with producers in determining proper coverages, terms, conditions and pricing.

* Develops new and renewal proposals and presentations. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of the content.

* Maintains and ensures all professional standards of Brown & Brown are met.

* Understands and employs leadership, delegation and project management skills in a professional and ethical business manner.

* Maintains a commitment to personal and professional development.

* Assist the CSR's with more complex client service issues.

* Enter and maintain data in applied database.

Licenses and Certifications:

* Insurance Producer license in good standing (authorities in states needed to service the assigned book of business) or ability to obtain such within 90 days of hire.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

* Knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted.

* Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.

* Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)

* 3+ years' experience in the insurance industry, or a related field. (preferred)

* College Degree in a business-related field. (preferred)
