Your duties will include but are not limited to:1. Overseeing all property accounting operations, including GL and reconcile.2. Leading the year-end close process, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.3. Managing and maintaining all aspects of commercial real estate accounting.4. Providing accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.5. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.6. Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.7. Advising on property-related financial decisions and strategies.8. Reviewing and improving current accounting systems and practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills. The following qualifications are required:1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role.4. Proficiency in year-end close processes and commercial real estate accounting.5. Extensive experience with GL and reconcile.6. Strong knowledge of accounting laws, regulations, and standards.7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.8. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.10.
