POSITION SUMMARY:

The Property Inspector position at Emperor Rentals is a crucial role that ensures the quality and consistency of our vacation rental properties. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The Property Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of our properties between guest stays, identifying any issues or areas for improvement, and coordinating with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure that each property is ready for the next guest.

In this role, you will have access to a company vehicle, so a very clean driving record and comfort driving a van is crucial.

The ideal candidate for this position should be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with other team members. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential, as the Property Inspector will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have a positive experience from start to finish. Any prior vacation rental or hospitality experience is a plus but not a requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vacation rental properties between guest stays
  • Identify and document any issues or areas for improvement, such as cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that all issues are addressed promptly and effectively
  • Communicate with property owners and guests as needed to resolve any concerns or questions
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and related activities
  • Assist with the implementation of quality control processes and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to property management and guest satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems as they arise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members, property owners, and guests
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and situations in a fast-paced environment

  • Valid driver's license

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $20

*overtime pay available for hours worked past 40 hours/ week

Schedule

  • 6 days a week, with weekends required. 1 day a week will be about 4-5 hours
