POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and thorough individual to join our team as our Property Inspector, part to full time.

You're the right person for the job if you are energetic, hardworking and enjoy a collaborative team environment. Through home inspections, you will help us maintain our large and quickly growing portfolio of properties. A passion for organization, efficiency and strong attention to detail are crucial in this role.

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will visit our properties to conduct thorough inspections. During these inspections, you will perform light home maintenance such as changing lightbulbs, air filters, fixing door hinges, etc. You will identify and document any necessary preventative maintenance tasks. You will also work with our outstanding local team, including assisting our Business Development Representative when new units join our portfolio, and provide cross coverage for the team and other inspectors when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals, inspecting assigned properties and perform light home maintenance as needed
  • Meet and maintain company standards and metrics such standard unit appearance
  • Resolve escalated guest and homeowner concerns by responding to emails, calls and tickets
  • Partner and assist your Business Development Representative when new units join the portfolio
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management team
  • Provide cross-coverage for your manager or peers when necessary
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
    • Reach overhead and below the waist
    • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
    • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
    • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets and mobile devices
  • Display professionalism in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior housekeeping experience a plus
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Must live in or near Galveston County, Texas.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle - Fuel reimbursement available
  • A valid Texas Real Estate License is a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $18- 22/ hour

  • Fuel Reimbursement available

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule, 7 days a week, with mornings and evenings as needed.
