Job Description:
Sustainable Comfort, Inc., located in Worcester, focuses on managing and maintaining multifamily housing properties. We are seeking a full-time Property Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the Property Management Department in creating healthy, well-maintained living environments.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including small to medium repairs.
  • Conduct property clean-ups and trash removal.
  • Assist subcontractors as needed.
  • Inspect properties for maintenance needs and report findings to the manager.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Track tasks using maintenance software and ensure records are updated.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for night and weekend emergencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in building trades, such as maintenance, construction, or landscaping.
  • Driver's License: A valid license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Work Style: Friendly, professional, and able to work well with tenants and team members.
  • Skills That Make You Stand Out: Experience with any of the following is a plus:
    • Landscaping
    • Carpentry
    • Masonry
    • Electrical repairs
    • Snow removal
    • Property inspections
  • Attention to Detail: A passion for doing the job right and solving problems effectively.
  • Certification: OSHA 10 certified is preferred. If you're not certified, we'll help you get it within 90 days.
  • Languages: The ability to speak Spanish is a bonus but not required.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and collaborate effectively.
  • Comfortable interacting with tenants and customers in a professional manner.
Salary & Benefits:
  • $22-$28/hour based on experience.
  • Full-time schedule, including occasional nights and weekends.
