SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:
* Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (with some flexibility)
* $22 - 32/hour (Plus earn an additional $50/day stipend for days you're on-call)
* $22 - Minimal experience
* $25 - 3 plus years of dedicated experience in construction, painting, maintenance, or trade knowledge experience
* $28 - 5 or more years of experience, comprehensive knowledge of residential or commercial repair and maintenance
* $32 - 8 plus years of experience, comprehensive knowledge of residential or commercial construction and repair
* Benefits: Health, Dental, PTO, 401K and more (eligible at 90 days of employment)
* Mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
SOME IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience completing residential or commercial repairs, required
* Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
* Ability to pass DHS background check
* Ability to be on-call 7 days a month for an additional $50 a day ($350 Week) stipend to respond to any emergency maintenance concerns that may come up, plus hourly pay if you have to go in to respond.
MORE ON THE ROLE:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work both independently and as a team, to provide safe and supportive housing to individuals experiencing long-term homelessness or living with mental illness or disabilities. You'll travel to SLS properties to complete work-orders, conduct routine maintenance, participate in remodel projects, turn apartment, and maintain landscaping, etc. You'll interact with team members and clients as you work within their offices and living spaces to maintain a well-kept property.
