Property Management Assistant
Established property management company is seeking a Property Management Assistant on a contract basis for their Uptown Charlotte office. You will provide support to property management, facilitate resolution of tenant requests, assist with lease administration.
Responsibilities of the Property Management Assistant:
- Provide administrative support to Property Managers and Maintenance Technicians which includes distributing management reports, ordering tenant gifts, filing, copying, scanning, and other miscellaneous projects.
- Act as point of contact for tenants and assist with various requests or issues.
- Update tenant sales, prepare deposits, and provide accounts receivable ledgers to tenants and access the general ledger and rent roll functions.
- Maintain database of tenant, property, and emergency contact information.
- Maintain an accurate Certificate of Insurance database
- Log deposits into a spreadsheet, create deposits, and scan checks into the Yardi check scanner.
Qualifications for the Property Management Assistant:
- Associate's degree and 3-5 years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
