Noor Staffing Group has partnered with a national multifamily management and investment firm. Due to a growing national portfolio multifamily assets, our client is looking to hire an experienced Property Manager to support an asset in New London!
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Multifamily Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our multifamily residential properties in New London, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering superior customer service. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage property operations, lead a team, and ensure the satisfaction of residents while maintaining financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Property Operations Management:**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple multifamily properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet company standards.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, including emergency responses and routine upkeep.
2. **Tenant Relations:**
- Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster positive relationships with residents to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
3. **Leasing and Marketing:**
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants.
- Conduct property showings, process rental applications, and execute lease agreements.
- Manage lease renewals and track lease expiration dates.
4. **Financial Management:**
- Prepare and manage property budgets, including operating expenses and capital improvements.
- Oversee rent collection, ensure timely processing of payments, and handle delinquent accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure properties meet financial targets.
5. **Team Leadership:**
- Recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff, including maintenance personnel and leasing agents.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support.
6. **Compliance and Risk Management:**
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and safety codes.
- Conduct regular property inspections and address any compliance or safety issues.
7. **Administrative Duties:**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to property management, tenant communications, and financial transactions.
- Prepare reports for senior management as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on multifamily properties.
- Proven track record of successful property management and tenant relations.
- Strong knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification from a professional property management organization (e.g., CPM, CAM) is a plus.
