Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Property Manager in the non-profit industry. Based in Largo, Maryland, the role entails comprehensive management of residential public housing properties to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role involves a rangeof responsibilities including property management, administrative duties, inspections, and resident services.Responsibilities:- Oversee on-site management of residential public housing properties.- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to housing.- Administer day-to-day management of properties, working directly with the Manager of Public Housing and Asset Management.- Oversee and assist in the application and rental process to determine eligibility.- Manage rental programs and ensure compliance with dwelling lease agreements.- Maintain the quality of building and ground maintenance, as well as property security.- Interpret and implement policy and procedures and communicate effectively with customers and other employees.- Comply with specific reporting standards established by HUD under the Public Housing Assessment System, the Real Estate Assessment Center, NSPIRE Physical Inspection standards, and any similar/subsequent programs.- Demonstrate knowledge of property management, including basic and complex business and management principles.- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and city laws and ordinances governing Public Housing.- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the supervision of maintenance employees and contractors and respond to tenant's complaints. Requirements - Demonstrable experience in Property Management, preferably within the non-profit sector- Proficiency in utilizing Yardi or similar property management software- Familiarity with Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) is essential- Proven ability to compile, review, and manage compliance documentation- Experience in preparing and maintaining supporting documents- Ability to work effectively as a Leasing Consultant, with a focus on customer service- Knowledge of Section 8 housing and related regulations- Strong organizational skills, with an emphasis on document management and review- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit sector- Bachelor's degree in business administration, property management, or a related field is desirable.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
